FI-VA - Accumulation tank

General issues

- FI-VA is tank with the capacity defined by its name, designed for the acciumulation of hot water (heat agent) by the connection to a boiler or a heating plant or to a solar panels system.
- as construction variant, there are three types of products: without heat exchanger (coil), with one heat exchanger (coil), with two heat exchangers (coils).
- the tank is manufactured from high quality steel sheet of 4, 5, 6 namely 8 mm thick (thicknesses depending on thr size of the tank), cylinder-shaped, with curved corers, enameled according to DIN 4753.
- The heat exchanger is made up of one or two helical coils of copper tube, depending on the construction variant.
- the FI-VA tanks accumulate heat in time and discharge it upon request.
- it is assembled on the floor, in vertical position and it has threaded connections to be linked to the source of heat agent production and to the consumers.
- The heat insulation is made up of mineral wool mattresses on which there is a zippered protection cover.
- The accumulation tanks are conceived and designed for discontinuous operation systems (boilers operating on wood, pellets and biomass) and they are used to store energy.
The operating principle is similar to an accumulator, the heat energy produced by a source of heat being the one stored. To avoid the loss of heat, the accumulation tank is heat insulated.
